VS450 Automatic CD Label & Film Applicator

The VS450 CD label and film applicator is a semi automated solution for accurately applying printable and pre-printed labels to 120mm & 80mm CDs, DVDs and CD-R Business Cards.

All types of blank, ink jet printable CD labels, from standard paper through to photo gloss finish can be applied in preparation for direct-to-surface ink jet printing. The finished disc can then have a permanent digitally enhanced image. This offers a major advantage over a CD with a printable surface, namely "Instant Drying". This means no smudging, no smearing and no need for secondary coating to protect the printed surface.

The cost savings can be enormous. Non printable CD-R media can now have an instant drying surface applied at just a fraction of the cost of a printable surface CD.

The VS450 is highly accurate and places the image on to a disc in 1.5 seconds to a tolerance of 0.5mm. The system is capable of preparing up to 1000 discs per hour and can operate with all types of CD-R and DVD-R including Business Cards.

The VS450 is also available with an automatic loading module allowing 180 discs to be automatically processed at a time with no operator intervention. With the automatic feeder option, up to 1800 discs can be labeled in one hour.
